TPROVIDING ALL OF YOUR SPACE EXPLORATION NEEDS.

CSE is not responsible for loss of life, limb, or valuable items. Explore space at your own discretion.

The Coalition of Space Exploration [CSE] is a government agency of Aets that runs the space exploration program and activities. Here at CSE, our employees are dedicated to making sure that you have the tools and resources needed to succeed in your space exploration endeavors.

Space exploration is at the heart of Aets, believing in going out to discover new planets, resources, and forming new alliances. The Dy'Kletiun are especially keen to visit the stars as it is the closest they can get to their Nebula ancestors.

CSE RESOURCE DATABASE
The CSE Resource Database is your guide to the beyond.

The Database has the following:
Zones - Which are open and what they look like
Enemy Ship Registry - Enemy encounter rates!
Ship Type Database - All your ship information needs. Doubles for enemy stats!
Aberration Log - Stats of the Aberrations that lurk in the vastness of space.

EXPLORING THE VASTNESS OF SPACE

Exploring space is a unique opportunity granted to members. There are many locations you can go to in order to explore and many of them allow you to bring back items which can be used in crafting or for other purposes.

CSE offers many expeditions for you to go on, from exploring dead planets to asteroid belts.

If you have completed General Training / Basic Class Trial, every month you are granted 2 free exploration rolls, of which no art or literature must be generated to go on. All other patrol submissions must be submitted with either art or literature.

Some quests are community quests which will unlock higher level areas and ships. Community quests include meeting certain exploration goals such as unlocking special areas, finding special items, or defeating special enemies.

HOW EXPLORATION WORKS

Fire on the Horizon by StudioShadows

To explore the never ending area of space, simply draw your Dy'Kletiun or Unlo in your desired location, being sure to match the description found in the CSE Database.

Each location has a Zone level, and this will impact your rate of success depending on the ship you use. Also, each location is designated Combat or Non-Combat. In combat zones, there is a chance you can run into an enemy ship, but the rewards are typically of more value than items found in non-combat zones.

COMBAT ZONES

Trouser Belt [Zone 1]
Zeimahsin [Zone 2]
Liason's Cradle [Zone 3]
The Triangulum Emission Garren Nebula, NGC 604 [Zone 3]
Raazien's Star System [Zone 3]
Inanis [Zone 4]
Huvect Aerae [Zone 5]
Animae Perit [Zone 5]

NON-COMBAT ZONES

Titan's Graveyard [Zone 1]
Arsene's Needle [Zone 1]
Andromeda [Zone 1]
Poseidus [Zone 2]
Omada [Zone 3]
Carinaeus [Zone 3]
Asimillina [Zone 4]
The Malevolent's Cage [Zone 5]

"WHAT DO THE STARSHIPS DO!?"

Good question!
Every ship has different levels of health, attack power, and shield! The level of your ship will also determine how successful you will be in finding items and in combat. This is why it is important to pay attention to the levels. If you go into a low level zone with a high level ship, your odds of success are greater than a ship of the same or lower level.

- Ships are regarded as items, and can be found in the "recurrent use" item section of your vault
- Ships are destructible, your ship health is tracked here. When your ship's health hits 0, it is destroyed. Your ship(s) return to 100% health at the end of every month.
-The base pass rate for an exploration is 50% at the same level of your ship, and increases by 10% for every level your ship is above the level of the zone, and likewise decreases by 10% for every level below.
For example: I take my Level 3 ship out, in a level 3 zone I have a base pass rate of 50%. If i take that same ship to a level 2 zone it increases to 60%, and at a level 4 zone it decreases to 40%.
- You will always find items if you fight an enemy!
