Welcome to the Rulebook!
Here you will find all the rules about Dy'Kletiun, such as expected conduct, what it entails to own a Dy, and a few other things we think are important to know!
By being a member of Dy'Kletiun and owning a Dy'Kletiun you are agreeing to the following rules!
Even if you leave the group, but still own a Dy, you can have your Dy revoked from your ownership for breaking our rules!
OWNERSHIP AND COPYRIGHT
Dy'Kletiun, all its game artwork [not artwork created by members for gameplay], lore, journals, resources, etc are copyright to GroovyPoltergeists / Cryptid-Horror and any theft of these resources, including written out journal resources, is punishable by banishment from the game in severe cases. No artwork commissioned or created for Dy'Kletiun activities, events, or game related resources is allowed to be used off site, except if it is a resource of Dy'Kletiun.Dy'Kletiun and their species belongs to GroovyPoltergeists / Cryptid-Horror and may not be replicated. Ownership of a "geno" or an "import" does not give you rights to the species, only the design and character name, personality, and bio. Severe cases of rule breaking can result in having your Dy removed from your ownership. At any time you are free to recreate a character or design as a different species, but they cannot be called "Dy'Kletiun" or any other name referred to in Dy'Kletiun.
You do not have permission to create a Dy'Kletiun for free and must obtain one in one of the following ways:
- Permission of custom or MYO from GroovyPoltergeists / Cryptid-Horror or an otherwise approved member who has written permission from GroovyPoltergeists.
- Genos /imports sold by members or owners of the geno/import.
- Genos/imports sold by the game through an adoption center.
Even if you leave the group, your Dy'Kletiun can be removed from your ownership if you are found to be breaking game rules.Dy'Kletiun and its admins are not responsible for any loss of funds or negative transactions/interactions with the player base. While we will evaluate and handle all complaints of wrongdoing, we cannot force players to compensate others. Be on guard and careful with who you deal with, keep screenshots of sales if need be!
HARASSMENT AND ABUSE
Cases of abuse and harassment are not taken lightly. All members are encouraged to bring any case of harassment or abuse to the admin team and group. The admin team will review both sides and make a determination. Harassment and abuse, be it verbal or otherwise, is not taken lightly and can result in banishment if severe enough. Name calling, hate-speech, discrimination of any kind, cyber-bullying, or otherwise is grounds for being removed from the game, and have your Dy'Kletiun revoked. These rules carry over to the discord, skype, and any other platforms that Dy'Kletiun using to facilitate game play, discussion, or other business.
Harassment outside of Dy'Kletiun in other ARPGs to a member of Dy'Kletiun is grounds for punishment.
If you are found harassing other users in ARPGs that are not Dy'Kletiun, and it is brought to our attention, it will be reviewed.
GENERAL RULES AND CONDUCT
As a member of Dy'Kletiun you are agreeing to all of the rules in this journal.
- All names, personalities, and bio's for imports must be kept PG-13. This include any personalities or bios that go into indepth detail about hate-crimes, hate speech, etc.
- Artwork submitted to the group that is excessive in violence or blood must have a mature content filter, but can be submitted to the group.
- Adult rated content such as pornography or nudity is NOT allowed in the gallery.
- Journals, artwork, literature, or other formats submitted to Dy'Kletiun must pertain to the group and Dy'Kletiun, or they will be rejected.
- Treat others with respect, and be respectful when commenting on other's artwork, or responding to them in journals.
- You are free to aid members when they have questions about the group, however be mindful if you receive a response as it may not be entirely accurate or may be outdated information! If you are aiding someone, be sure you know where to find the information, or wait for an admin!
- Doing admin duties such as commenting what may be incorrect on an import, is against the rules unless you are an admin working in that department.
- Co-owning is not permitted.
- Be patient and polite with admins, and other members. We all have lives outside of the game, and we all work very hard to maintain the upkeep of the game!
BREEDING AND SALES
Every month you are allowed to post 3 breedings, of which 2 may be split breedings. You can unlock an extra slot by doing an Allurement Image!*
- A full to you means you get all the genos and can do what you please with them.
- A split means that you and another person have posted the breeding together and it will count as a breeding for both of you. After the breeding, you must post who gets what genos in response to either the original breeding comment, or the results. After which, you may only do what you please with the genos you own.
- You may only promise/sell/gift/trade or otherwise use slots to your Dy'Kletiun should those slots be unlocked. The exception to this rule is if the buyer is doing artwork to unlock the slots.
- Slot permission must written out in the official breeding approval journal. Screenshots or slots promised in other venues are not slot permissions.
- All slot rules in slot permissions will be honored by the breeding admins, and slot permissions do not expire. You are not allowed to revoke permissions if the user has completed payment.
- UNLIMITED slot permissions are not allowed. The max amount of slot permissions you may post per a comment is Five.
- You may only sell genos and imports, and slots, owned by you. If a slot permission from another person to their character requires permission from them, you may not sell the slot until permission obtained.
- When you trade or sell an import, the group recognizes all promised slots as official should they have slot permissions written out officially.
- You may post the same advertisement to the group every 24 hours. Any more than that and it will be considered spam, and denied.
- If a user has not transferred a good to you after you have paid them for the good, or service, reach out to us and we will do our best to notify them and have them address you with the service or good! If they do not refund or give you the good/service it is punishable.
- Pressuring, harassing, or otherwise asking for things that are not for sale by the owner is against the rules. This includes asking for characters/imports, slots, genos, or items.
- You may only adopt from the adoption center twice. You may not sell forward these genos, and they can only be returned to Momma with no payout.
- Once you give a geno or import to Darikey's Legion, you may not use it any longer.
Selling full slots and making rules such as "if x rolls, it goes to me" is NOT a full, it is a split and will be rejected if it is not labeled correctly.
* Allurement Images must be at least 50% of the body, flat colors with a simple background OR it must be 600 words for literature. It must be of the Dy's interacting in a PG-13 setting [meaning no adult content], and can be them cuddling, hanging out, etc.

ARTWORK AND LITERATURE
Dy'Kletiun has a zero tolerance policy for Plagiarizing or otherwise tracing artwork that does not belong to you without credit given. Any images or literature, or other forms of media found to break this rule will be removed from the galleries, and disqualified for any rolls/items or other game mechanics received from them. You will receive a warning, and at three warning you will be banned from the game and your Dy will be revoked.
*Credit those you take inspiration from if you reference their work!*
This includes art styles!
- Copying or otherwise referencing another person's character imports too heavily is not allowed and grounds for rejection in Import approval. If you are caught doing this multiple times, you may be banned from import approval, or the game.
- Stock images/photos/bases/other media is not allowed for events, quests, or otherwise facilitated activities of the group. They are allowed for your own personal use or artwork, and provided they are credited appropriately, will be allowed in the game.
- The AU gallery is not a place to submit artwork of your Dy'Kletiun as another ARPG character!
- All works must be unique. If we find you are using the same works or too similar works for activities, we will reject it and inform you of why.
GENERAL ART ETIQUETTE WHEN DEALING WITH SALES
This is not final, but a guideline. - If you are new to ARPGs/CRPGs, or a veteran, be aware of your own limits. Do not take on more work than you can handle.
- Do not bid on things that you know you cannot complete. Doing 100 questing images for a simple geno is not worth it.
- Your time and artwork has value no matter your skill. Do not underprice or undervalue your work! If you are unsure of how to price your artwork, ask a friend or a fellow ARPG member!
- Keeping rule number 3 in mind, if we find users submitting journals with commissions that are very low for original creations [i.e. not base transfers for YCH, etc] it will be rejected from the group and explained why.
- Keep in contact with those involved in the deal! Weekly updates are a fantastic way to keep good relationships with other members of the game!
- Players are not required to tell others why they do not wish to take a deal. You are free to govern your sales journal as you see fit, however be kind and courteous and professional in your dealings!
GROUP CHATS
Any group chat hosted by Dy'Kletiun is monitored by admins 24/7 and all the rules of the group apply there, as well as any rules in the discord/skype.
The servers have a warning system. If you receive a fourth warning you will be banned for 24 hours. Continued aggressors will result in a permanent ban.
1. Be kind to others and treat everyone with respect. Don't talk down to them or give others attitude.
2. Do not starts fights. If you need to argue with someone go to private direct messaging.
3. If someone asks for the current topic to be changed, change the topic.
4. While we encourage everyone to feel welcome, we do ask you keep all conversations outside of the Adult channel PG-13.
5. Avoid conversations about religion, politics, and mental well being. Many users come to the discord to escape their every day routines or own health related conditions.
6. Excessive cursing, or using it to name call others, is not allowed.
7. Do not act rude or aggressive towards admins.
8. The adult channel allows for rated R topics. The following things belong in the adult channel, however be aware this is not a full list. If you are unsure if something belongs in the adult channel, post it in the adult channel. Lying about your age to get into the adult channel is an automatic server ban. To gain access please let us know in the welcome channel by saying the key word "Monty," otherwise say "Python."
• dead animals/taxidermy, Nudity (excludes pornography, this is against discord rules), heavy drug references, excessive violence themed works, or otherwise anything you would put a mature filter on.
9. You may post the same advertisement once every 24 hours. Please utilize deviant art journals so that the channel does not get cluttered. Same goes for ads of other arpg.
10. Just like with the group, any ill talk, shaming, or otherwise "Salting" other groups, players, or people will result in a warning. Excessive rudeness can result in a ban from the discord.
